The Sales Audit Manager plays a critical role for the oversight of the Sales Audit appropriate posting of sales transactions to Retek Sales Audit (ReSA), Oracle GL, and BBY reporting systems for all BBY channels. The position is impacted by the complexity of BBY’s financial systems, the multiple teams involved in posting sales, and the continual addition of new products and sales channels. The Sales Audit Manager must have a strong desire to understand complex systems, interfaces, and how they impact financial records and scorecards.

This position is seen as a key partner and will have the opportunity to develop and retain relationships across other operational, finance, and IT functions by providing controllership & operational support for their business processes. They will lead a team providing leadership support, talent development, and expertise in their business areas anticipating and helping resolve issues and roadblocks.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure the integrity of BBY financials booked by ReSA by validating accuracy of the interface between ReSA, Oracle GL and other BBY systems, and partner with IT to rectify issues.
• Review and validate SOX controls to reduce financial exposure to the BBY Enterprise.
• Actively participate with business teams on projects impacting BBY financials and systems to validate business requirements, explain financial outcomes, develop system resolutions, and support testing and implementation.
• Assist the team with complex Sales Audit issues with an understanding of downstream impacts, while partnering with impacted teams to ensure proper system resolution.
• Lead a team of 2 direct reports – keeping in mind their individual development, strengths, team dynamics and business needs; creating a culture of belonging.
• Create a vision for the team to continuously review and improve processes by leveraging technology to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s work
• Attention to detail and an ability to understand complex business and financial matters while providing recommendations to potential areas of risk or concerns that ultimately impact financial outcomes
• Strong ability to use organizational knowledge and networks to act as a change agent and communicate effectively with financial and non-financial partners to implement changes and anticipate and resolve issues

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Tax, Treasury capacity
• Intermediate Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field including experience leading people
• 2+ years project management or experience influencing without authority
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation)
• Experience of applying GAAP to complex, large company situations
• Experience working with Oracle EBS, SQL, OneStream
